The Angel Canal Festival attracts stalls and entertainers
of many types including food,
canalware, demonstrations and
charity stalls
such as the MS one
shown here.
There are over 70
stalls on the towpath and
surounding
streets. The event is
growing and
can now attract in
excess of
7000 visitors from the
local area
and far
afield. Stalls are provided (please provide your own seating) and
are metal framed with a counter
area of 7'x3' (2.1m x 0.9m
approx). They
are covered in heavy
duty plastic
covering to keep the
sun off (or
rain)-recent
years we have
had some real
sunny weather. There are some pitches where you may bring your own stall
if you wish. General Stalls Each stall/pitch costs £45 in advance by 5th
August 2011
.
There
are some concessions for
registered
charities and
non-profit
organisations. Your attention is drawn to the details on the application
form in respect of the type of
goods you can not sell or are
restricted as
prizes by way of
age. If you wish
to run any game
of chance including
raffles please
ensure you check
the licencing
rules- you must adhere to
the
small lotteries act or apply
for a
