Islington's Angel Canal Festival Needs
You
The Angel Canal Festival is run by volunteers and is
supported by local businesses, clubs and charities. In order that we may
continue and run the event free of charge for the Islington community and
its visitors we need help in the form of sponsorship and volunteer
helpers- on the day and throughout the year.
Sponsors
In order to run and publicise this major event for
Islington we require financial donations from local businesses. We also
need support in advertising and promotion, if you run a local publication
we'd love a mention. Major sponsors are recognized in our flyers and on
the links page of this

Volunteering
We fully appreciate some people are not in a position to
donate funds, however we also require helpers to keep things running
smoothly. Help is required throughout the year with planning, preparation
and marketing of this event. On the day we recieve a great deal of support
from the local boat cruising club based at St Pancras, as well as
attractions within the festival planned and organized by local charities
such as Islington Boat Club. However we always need more helpers on the
day, the usual timetable of jobs is as follows.
